Writer/director Dom studied film at Harrow College before heading off to the war in Bosnia with £1000 and a Hi-8 camcorder. The resulting documentary, 'A Sarajevo Diary', was bought by Channel 4 and shown at festivals worldwide. The programme also won a Special Commendation at the Prix Europa and was nominated for a BAFTA. Since then he has filmed the streetkids of Rio, been under fire in East Timor, made three documentaries in Liberia, and crossed the blockade around Bougainville to make the award-winning film, 'The Coconut Revolution'. His first feature film, 'My Brother Tom', a savage love story about two abused teenagers, was released by FilmFour in 2001 and won thirteen awards internationally. He has just finished his second feature, 'Exhibit A', and is currently working on several documentaries and feature scripts.
